Australian Merbourne Group, formed by Paul Schulze, Gordon Harvey, Ian Russell and Paul Widdicombe, among the most important and influential of the '80s. Their music was mostly improvised fairy collage of urban sounds of ethnic percussion, metal and electronic equipment (this was the role of Schulze in the group), with guitar, synth (with waves or played), treated tapes, keypads and low sometimes forming a sort of "song", almost always instrumental (with voice whispered or found, never normally used to sing ...) at times ambient and instead became a violin is heard in the distance and a xylophone his way through rarefied sounds and noises concrete [lapping of water and pings in cs.
