Pains In Stomach, Peeing Frequently, Tired

A Handful Of Dust : Musica Humana (Collected Works 90-93) (corpus Hermeticus NZ)
Group formed by two of the most important of the Free Noise New Zealander Bruce Russell (Dead C) and Alaister Galbraith (sui generis singer / songwriter). This CD is a collection containing a LP (Concord) + several singles and compilation tracks from, where they play a mix of guitar, violin, toys, keyboards, synth, tapes, cut-up to melt the brain and sonic collage of concrete sounds, noise going from carpets to calm and relaxing atmosphere. Minimalism, abrasion and chaotic explosions of sound : a 'perfect introduction to this group.
Two key points summarize the whole approach to music Russel:
The concept of lo-fi, which is often used to define his music and that of the Dead C is wrong if you think that his music is recorded "evil", on the contrary, his music is recorded with care but is lo-fi as the tools used are lo-fi as his amp that sizzled even when turned off ...
Russell says he has always had a critical approach regarding the use of multi-track. It is not fair for him to record the musicians individually and then glue the individual tracks to make a song audible. What interests him is the sound that creates a team when he plays live in one room.
primarily engaged Music's instrumental, Human Beings Actually play music in a room together and you record it. I can not see why, in order to make an audible record of That, You Would Want to have the human beings do their bits separately and then patch them together to make a representation of what it might have sounded like if they'd all been playing together in a room at the same time. I profoundly find that a weird way to go... The sound that people make together in a room playing, to me that's what recording ought to be about "

Free The Noise!
Nel suo Free Noise Manifesto (che serve da packaging a questo CD) sostiene:
-point to 1 . There is an area in the midst of other forms of music, in which all the "rules" that keep them separate cease to apply. All the music bleed to death in this empty, there are some other more and more inside and outside of these boundaries .
As well as the music is noise. As well as the rules is Free.
to-point 6. Free Music stands by the lack of premeditation, and most of the musicians dall'astenersi Scheduled to be repetitions of the same music in subsequent occasions.
to-point 6.1 . We need to let the sounds be what they are .
